Bravo - America better wake up!

Madam Speaker, allow me, first, to express my sincere thanks to you personally for having planned a debate on Islam on the very day of my birthday. I could not have wished for a nicer present! Madam Speaker, approximately 1400 years ago war was declared on us by an ideology of hate and violence which arose at the time and was proclaimed by a barbarian who called himself the Prophet Mohammed. I am referring to Islam.

Madam Speaker, let me start with the foundation of the Islamic faith, the Koran. The Koran's core theme is about the duty of all Muslims to fight non-Muslims; an Islamic Mein Kampf, in which fight means war, jihad. The Koran is above all a book of war "“a call to butcher non-Muslims (2:191, 3:141, 4:91, 5:3), to roast them (4:56, 69:30-69:32), and to cause bloodbaths amongst them (47:4). Jews are compared to monkeys and pigs (2:65, 5:60, 7:166), while people who believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God must according to the Koran be fought (9:30).

Madam Speaker, the West has no problems with Jews or Christians, but it does have problems with Islam. It is still possible, even today, for Muslims to view the Koran, which they regard as valid for all time, as a licence to kill. And that is exactly what happens. The Koran is worded in such a way that its instructions are addressed to Muslims for eternity, which includes today's Muslims. This in contrast to texts in the Bible, which is formulated as a number of historical narratives, placing events in a distant past. Let us remind ourselves that it was Muslims, not Jews or Christians, who committed the catastrophic terrorist attacks in New York, Madrid and London; and that it was no coincidence that Theo van Gogh was brutally murdered by a Muslim, Mohammed Bouyeri.

Madam Speaker, I acknowledge that there are people who call themselves Muslims and who respect our laws. My party, the Freedom Party, has nothing against such people, of course. However, the Koran does have something against them. For it is stated in the Koran in Sura 2, verse 85, that those believers who do not believe in everything the Koran states will be humiliated and receive the severest punishment; which means that they will roast in Hell. In other words, people who call themselves Muslims but who do not believe, for example, in Sura 9, verse 30, which states that Jews and Christians must be fought, or, for example, in Sura 5, verse 38, which states that the hand of a thief must be cut off, such people will be humiliated and roast in Hell. Note that it is not me who is making this up. All this can be found in the Koran. The Koran also states that Muslims who believe in only part of the Koran are in fact apostates, and we know what has to happen to apostates. They have to be killed.

Madam Speaker, the Koran is a book that incites to violence. I remind the House that the distribution of such texts is unlawful according to Article 132 of our Penal Code. In addition, the Koran incites to hatred and calls for murder and mayhem. The distribution of such texts is made punishable by Article 137(e). The Koran is therefore a highly dangerous book; a book which is completely against our legal order and our democratic institutions. In this light, it is an absolute necessity that the Koran be banned for the defence and reinforcement of our civilisation and our constitutional state. I shall propose a second-reading motion to that effect.

Madam Speaker, there is no such thing as "moderate Islam".... As Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan said the other day, and I quote, "There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that's it".... Islam is in pursuit of dominance. It wishes to exact its imperialist agenda by force on a worldwide scale (8:39). This is clear from European history. Fortunately, the first Islamic invasion of Europe was stopped at Poitiers in 732; the second in Vienna in 1683. Madam Speaker, let us ensure that the third Islamic invasion, which is currently in full spate, will be stopped too in spite of its insidious nature and notwithstanding the fact that, in contrast to the 8th and 17th centuries, it has no need for an Islamic army because the scared "dhimmis"� in the West, also those in Dutch politics, have left their doors wide open to Islam and Muslims.

Apart from conquest, Madam Speaker, Islam is also bent on installing a totally different form of law and order, namely Sharia law. This makes Islam, apart from a religion for hundreds of millions of Muslims also, and in particular, a political ideology (with political/constitutional/Islamic basic values, etc). Islam is an ideology without any respect for others; not for Christians, not for Jews, not for non-believers and not for apostates. Islam aims to dominate, subject, kill and wage war.

Madam Speaker, the Islamic incursion must be stopped. Islam is the Trojan Horse in Europe. If we do not stop Islamification now, Eurabia and Netherabia will just be a matter of time. One century ago, there were approximately 50 Muslims in the Netherlands. Today, there are about 1 million Muslims in this country. Where will it end? We are heading for the end of European and Dutch civilisation as we know it. Where is our Prime Minister in all this? In reply to my questions in the House he said, without batting an eyelid, that there is no question of our country being Islamified. Now, this reply constituted a historical error as soon as it was uttered. Very many Dutch citizens, Madam Speaker, experience the presence of Islam around them. And I can report that they have had enough of burkas, headscarves, the ritual slaughter of animals, so-called honour revenge, blaring minarets, female circumcision, hymen restoration operations, abuse of homosexuals, Turkish and Arabic on the buses and trains as well as on town hall leaflets, halal meat at grocery shops and department stores, Sharia exams, the Finance Minister's Sharia mortgages, and the enormous overrepresentation of Muslims in the area of crime, including Moroccan street terrorists.

In spite of all this, Madam Speaker, there is hope. Fortunately. The majority of Dutch citizens have become fully aware of the danger, and regard Islam as a threat to our culture. My party, the Freedom Party, takes those citizens seriously and comes to their defence.

Many Dutch citizens are fed up to the back teeth and yearn for action. However, their representatives in The Hague are doing precisely nothing. They are held back by fear, political correctness or simply electoral motives. This is particularly clear in the case of PvdA, the Dutch Labour Party, which is afraid of losing Muslim voters. The Prime Minister said in Indonesia the other day that Islam does not pose any danger. Minister Donner believes that Sharia law should be capable of being introduced in the Netherlands if the majority want it. Minister Vogelaar babbles about the future Netherlands as a country with a Judeo-Christian-Islamic tradition, and that she aims to help Islam take root in Dutch society. In saying this, the Minister shows that she has obviously gone stark raving mad. She is betraying Dutch culture and insulting Dutch citizens.

Madam Speaker, my party, the Freedom Party, demands that Minister Vogelaar retract her statement. If the Minister fails to do so, the Freedom Party parliamentary group will withdraw its support for her. No Islamic tradition must ever be established in the Netherlands: not now and also not in a few centuries' time.

Madam Speaker, let me briefly touch on the government's response to the WRR [Netherlands Scientific Council for Government Policy] report. On page 12 of its response, the government states that Islam is not contrary to democracy or human rights. All I can say to that is that things can't get much more idiotic than this.

Madam Speaker, it is a few minutes to twelve. If we go on like this, Islam will herald the end of our Western civilisation as well as Dutch culture.

I would like to round off my first-reading contribution with a personal appeal to the Prime Minister on behalf of a great many Dutch citizens: stop the Islamification of the Netherlands!

Mr Balkenende, a historic task rests on your shoulders. Be courageous. Do what many Dutch citizens are screaming out for. Do what the country needs. Stop all immigration from Muslim countries, ban all building of new mosques, close all Islamic schools, ban burkas and the Koran. Expel all criminal Muslims from the country, including those Moroccan street terrorists that drive people mad. Accept your responsibility! Stop Islamification!

Enough is enough, Mr Balkenende. Enough is enough.

A German's Point of View on Islam

A man whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War ll owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

'Very few people were true Nazis 'he said,' but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectra of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam. The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history.

It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. The hard quantifiable fact is that the 'peaceful majority', the 'silent majority', is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War ll was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And, who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghanis, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts: the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, at the risk of offending, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems of expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, world wide, read this - think about it - and send it on.

Earlier this week, while performing in London, you stated that you were ashamed that our President is from your home state. I wonder if you realized how many Americans would be listening. This American was listening. This Texan is ashamed that you come from my state.

I serve my country as an officer in the United States Navy. Specifically, I fly F-14 Tomcats off carriers around the world, executing the missions that preserve the very freedom you claim to exercise.

I have proudly fought for my country in the skies over Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan without regret. Though I may disagree wholeheartedly with your comments, I will defend to the death your right to say them, in America.

But for you to travel to a foreign land and publicly criticize our Commander in Chief is cowardice behavior. Would you have so willingly made those comments while performing for a patriotic, flag-waving crowd of Texans in Lubbock. I would imagine not.

How dare you pocket profits off songs about soldiers, their deaths and patriotism while criticizing their Commander in Chief abroad, even while they prepare to give their lives to ensure your own freedom of speech.

Please ask yourself, what have you done to deserve that sacrifice? Do not try to justify your comments by claiming that you made them only because you care about innocent lives.

Never once in our history have we committed troops to war for the purpose of taking innocent lives. We do it to protect innocent lives, even yours. If the world leaders of the late 1930’s had the vision and courage of our present Commander in Chief, perhaps the evil men who caused the death of millions in WWII would have never had the opportunity to harm a soul.

The potential loss of millions of lives in the future at the hands of today’s evil men necessitate action. In a separate correspondence, I am returning to you each and every Dixie Chicks CD and cassette that I have ever purchased.

Never again will I allow my funds to support your behavior. All you have done is to add your name to a growing list of American “Celebrities” who have failed to realize that they have obtained their successes on the backs of the American blue-collar workers such as our servicemen and women.

Lynda Lenz moved from St. Paul to Nevada, but her furniture didn't. The moving company arrived with some boxes, but where were her dining room set, living room set, office furniture and computer?

"I'm terrified! I was going to retire with that furniture," Lenz told the Watchdog as she pleaded for help. "Where is it?"

Good question.

A frantic Farrah Wanner had the same question when she contacted the Watchdog. She and her husband, Brandon, were newlyweds living in Eden Prairie when he got a new job in Florida.

Their move was supposed to take three days and cost less than $3,000. Six weeks and $8,000 later, the Wanners found their belongings in Kansas City and prevailed upon relatives to pack them in a rental truck and help them drive it to their new home.

These horror stories show what moving can be like when unscrupulous or inept companies are involved. The Watchdog helped the readers solve their problems. But she also found along the way solid advice for people to follow to shield themselves.

It helps enormously to be there while your stuff is going into the truck, for example. Always check out a company's Better Business Bureau report.

Prior to Lenz's move, she paid All My Sons, a local moving and storage company, to put her belongings in its Brooklyn Park warehouse. The company was supposed to take an inventory of her household goods. Bekins Van Lines, which was to move her things to Nevada, could not find such a list, so it made its own of only the things it was loading. No major furniture was on the list.

For weeks, Lenz made do with a couple of lawn chairs at her new home near Las Vegas.

To help Lenz, the Watchdog first contacted All My Sons. The office manager would not explain matters to the Watchdog but said he would call Lenz. He didn't.

The Watchdog then called Bekins Van Lines. Much better luck there: Senior Vice President Scott Ogden got on the job right away and pressured All My Sons.

"We will require them to go through the warehouse, and if we're unable to locate it, we will go through with a claim for it," he promised the Watchdog.

Within a few days, employees at All My Sons had looked harder, and, indeed, the furniture was found.

Even though it has to make a second trip and ship items that may show up later, Bekins will not charge Lenz any extra. If some goods don't show up at all, Bekins will walk Lenz through the claims process, Ogden said.

Bekins, which is a Better Business Bureau member, has a satisfactory rating. All My Sons, of Brooklyn Park, with dozens of complaints on file with the Better Business Bureau, has an unsatisfactory record.

Lenz is getting her things back, but only after a huge hassle. Wanner had the huge hassle and still had to take matters into her own hands.

She started out by going to the Internet to hire a broker, Top Relocation, which, according to the Better Business Bureau, had had some complaints that were shown as resolved. The broker was supposed to find her a reputable mover. Wanner selected a reasonably priced mover called Team Spirit. She signed a $2,350 contract and paid the broker a $550 fee.

The van was several days late picking up the Wanners' belongings — the first of many problems.

The couple had to leave for Florida, so her parents oversaw the loading. They didn't get the paperwork they were supposed to.

The truck was supposed to drive directly to Florida in three days, but instead, weeks went by. The couple's belongings, valued at $32,000 — virtually everything they owned — never showed up, even though the Wanners were told again and again that the delivery would be within the next day or so. The mover used a variety of excuses: The fuel pump broke; the driver was taking time off to be with his wife; the van was sent to Texas, or maybe Utah, to pick up another load.

Wanner made dozens of frantic phone calls to the broker, the mover and the driver. Often, her calls weren't returned, she said.

She turned to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, which told her the moving company was unlicensed and uninsured. She filed a felony theft report with the police in Georgia, where the moving company was located.

Wanner was sore from sleeping on a blow-up mattress and frightened that she might never get her things back. The Watchdog talked to the mover and was told the belongings were in St. Louis. But when the items stashed in a storage area there were described to Wanner, she was disheartened to find they weren't hers after all.

Six weeks after her goods were loaded into the moving van, Wanner tracked her belongings to Kansas City. She persuaded police to cut the lock off a storage area there and allow her mother-in-law and two aunts to load it into a rental truck. Wanner and her husband met them in Illinois, then drove the truck back to their Florida home.

The broker refunded the Wanners' fee. But the couple incurred more than $8,000 in expenses, including phone charges, things they had to buy to make up for what was on the truck, such as a bed and clothing, and the cost of moving the goods themselves from Kansas City, Wanner said.

Wanner now volunteers for www.movingscam.com, a Web site that warns people about problem brokers and moving companies.

"It's unbelievable how common this is," she said. "It's just disgusting."

The Senate just passed it's Hagel-Martinez Amnesty bill -- what many are calling the "No Illegal Alien Left Behind Act" -- by a final vote of 62-36.

Top Relocation Services Scam Alert (A.K.A. Team USA Relocation)

Below is my experience with Top Relocation Services (moving broker) and the movers, All California Express:

Per my service order, movers were supposed to arrive on load dates provided: 06/12/2006 to 06/13/2006.

FACT: I took several vacation days off work to wait for movers. Movers did not load until 06/15/06 in the afternoon!

Per my service order, movers were supposed to deliver on delivery dates provided: 06/20/2006 to 06/24/2006.

FACT: Movers have still NOT delivered!

Last week, I was told by Top Relocation Services, our belongings would be here this past weekend, 07/01/2006 to 07/02/2006. I was then told by movers our belongings would be here 07/03/2006 to 07/05/2006. I spoke to movers on 07/03/2006 and they have not even left California to deliver to Texas.

Now I am told by movers, my stuff should be here next weekend, 07/08/2006 to 07/09/2006 because driver decided to stay in California until the holiday. I am getting different stories from the movers and Top Relocation Services. I have repeatedly had to call the movers directly to get information because Top Relocation Services has supposedly had trouble reaching the movers themselves. Top Relocation Services is entirely ineffective at escalating with the movers to accomplish anything on my behalf and terrible at following up with any callback.

I am incurring additional meal expenses due to not having a fridge and clothing expenses due to not having a washer and dryer. My large parrot is also suffering being in a small travel cage for this extended time period and very agitated. I am increasingly frustrated as the days go on and our belongings are held hostage. We still need a solid delivery date on when we will have our belongings and our final bill, which keeps increasing. I would NOT recommend this broker to anyone based on their poor customer service and unprofessional movers they utilize.

I will be calling my credit card company to dispute our deposit. I would hate for another family to experience these kinds of headaches and delays, so I am posting this for the public's information.

Please submit your complaints to the BBB, the Attorney General's Office in Florida, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Federal Court in California Rules Pledge of Allegiance Unconstitutional

A federal district court in San Francisco has ruled that reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools is unconstitutional.

U.S. District Judge Lawrence Karlton ruled that the pledge's reference to one nation "under God" violates school children's right to be "free from a coercive requirement to affirm God." Karlton said he was bound by 2002 precedent of the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Your Senators could have stopped this nonsense last year but they failed to act. In 2004, the House of Representatives passed a bill that would have prohibited liberal judges from ruling on issues involving the pledge, but failed because the bill died in U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.

S. 1046 – The Pledge Protection Act of 2005 has been introduced in the U.S. Senate. Let's not let this happen again!

The Legislature's action trampled over Proposition 22, an overwhelmingly popular 2000 initiative that banned same-sex marriage in California, said a spokeswoman for the governor.

"We cannot have a system where the people vote and the Legislature derails the vote," said Margita Thompson, Schwarzenegger's press secretary. "Out of respect for the will of the people, the governor will veto AB 849."

The primary means of hurricane evacuation will be personal vehicles. School and municipal buses, government-owned vehicles and vehicles provided by volunteer agencies may be used to provide transportation for individuals who lack transportation and require assistance in evacuating.

It is the responsiblity of the Mayor to get those buses and people moving! How can Mayor Nagin explain this:

Our actions do make a difference! A few weeks ago I e-mailed President Bush and Attorney General Gonzales asking them to prosecute obscenity. On Monday, Attorney General Gonzales announced that the Department of Justice would begin prosecuting obscenity.

Even before that announcement, Adelphia Cable said they would change their policy and not show hardcore porn on their cable systems.

Two pornographers are making it easier for young children to be exposed to pornography. Playboy Enterprises and Dwango Wireless have announced plans to provide pornography, accessible to children, to the nation’s 170 million cell phone users.

In addition, the New York Daily News reports that children are now buying pre-paid porn cards to access porn sites on the Internet. The pre-paid porn cards operate like a pre-paid phone card. Click here to read this very disturbing news.

Reports also say that EchoStar, a national direct from satellite to TV dish provider, plans to begin featuring hardcore porn on their satellite feed to homes.

Twas the Night Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, he lived all alone, in a one-bedroom house made of plaster and stone.

I had come down the chimney with presents to give, and to see just who in this home did live.

As I looked all about, a strange sight I did see, no tinsel, no presents, not even a tree. No stocking by the fire, just boots filled with sand. On the wall hung pictures of a far distant land.

With medals and badges, awards of all kind, a sobering thought soon came to my mind. For this house was different, unlike any I'd seen. This was the home of a U.S. Marine.

I'd heard stories about them, I had to see more, so I walked down the hall and pushed open the door. And there he lay sleeping, silent, alone, Curled up on the floor in his one-bedroom home.

He seemed so gentle, his face so serene, Not how I pictured a U.S. Marine. Was this the hero, of whom I'd just read? Curled up in his poncho, a floor for his bed?

His head was clean-shaven, his weathered face tan. I soon understood, this was more than a man. For I realized the families that I saw that night, owed their lives to these men, who were willing to fight.

Soon around the Nation, the children would play, and grown-ups would celebrate on a bright Christmas day. They all enjoyed freedom, each month and all year, because of Marines like this one lying here.

I couldn't help wonder how many lay alone, on a cold Christmas Eve, in a land far from home. Just the very thought brought a tear to my eye. I dropped to my knees and I started to cry.

He must have awoken, for I heard a rough voice,
"Santa, don't cry, this life is my choice I fight for freedom, I don't ask for more. My life is my God, my Country, my Corps."

With that he rolled over, drifted off into sleep, I couldn't control it, I continued to weep. I watched him for hours, so silent and still. I noticed he shivered from the cold night's chill. So I took off my jacket, the one made of red, and covered this Marine from his toes to his head. Then I put on his T-shirt of scarlet and gold, with an eagle, globe and anchor emblazoned so bold. And although it barely fit me, I began to swell with pride, and for one shining moment, I was Marine Corps deep inside.

I didn't want to leave him so quiet in the night, this guardian of honor so willing to fight. But half asleep he rolled over, and in a voice clean and pure, said,
"Carry on, Santa, it's Christmas Day, all secure."

One look at my watch and I knew he was right,
"Merry Christmas my friend, Semper Fi and goodnight."

Tomorrow is Veterans Day. We encourage our readers to set aside time to reflect on the sacrifice of our Patriot veterans and honor them accordingly.

On November 11th, 1921, an unknown American soldier from World War I was buried in Arlington National Cemetery, in recognition of WWI veterans and in conjunction with the timing of cessation of hostilities at 11 a.m., November 11, 1918 (the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month). President Warren Harding requested that: "All...citizens...indulge in a period of silent thanks to God for these... valorous lives and of supplication for His Divine mercy...on our beloved country." Inscribed on the Tomb are the words: "Here lies in honored glory an American soldier know but to God." The day became known as "Armistice Day." In 1954, Congress, wanting to recognize the sacrifice of veterans since WWI, proposed to change Armistice Day to Veterans Day in their honor. President Dwight D. Eisenhower, former Supreme Commander in WWII, signed the legislation.

To honor those veterans who sacrificed all, an Army honor guard from the 3d U.S. Infantry (The Old Guard) keeps day and night vigil at Arlington. At 11 a.m. tomorrow, a combined color guard representing all military service branches executes "Present Arms" at the tomb for the laying of a wreath by the president. This is followed by "Taps."

The Defense Department has totaled one measure of the price of liberty -- almost 1.2 million members of our fighting forces have died while in service to our country since the American Revolution; 1.4 million have been wounded. The numbers, of course, offer no reckoning of the inestimable value of these individual citizens' lives, and the sacrifices borne by their families. But we do know their sacrifices defended a precious gift handed down to us -- the liberties we cherish. Every day -- but today especially -- let us always hold our veterans and their families in our hearts.

Senator Specter Should Not Serve as Chairman of the Judiciary Committee

It appears that the President’s desire to reign in activist judges who force their liberal agenda on the American public is headed to the ash heap if pro-choice Republican Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania has his way.

Specter is in line to be elected Chairman of the Judiciary Committee unless Republican Senators vote otherwise. According to the Associated Press, Specter "bluntly warned the newly re-elected President Bush today against putting forth Supreme Court nominees who would seek to overturn abortion rights or are otherwise too conservative to win confirmation." Sen. Specter even hinted that if the nominee is "too conservative" it could result in a filibuster.

All appointments of Federal judges, including the Supreme Court, must go through the Senate Judiciary Committee. The Chairman can elect to call up a nominee or refuse to do so.

Senator Specter warns Bush on high court nominations

Senator Arlen Specter, a Republican from Pennsylvania, has warned President Bush not to send to the Senate for a judicial appointment (including the Supreme Court) any nominee who is a strict constructionist (in other words, who is not pro-choice.

Specter implied that he is prepared to filibuster any nominee that he (Specter) considers too conservative.

Specter is the person who killed the nomination of Robert Bork to the Supreme Court and tried to kill the nomination of Clarence Thomas. This is the person Pres. Bush went to Pennsylvania to campaign for. But Specter knows it will be six years before he will be up for re-election and feels free to do as he pleases. He can even spit in the face of the President if he desires. His turning on the President, who helped him get re-elected, shows his character.

Under Senate tradition, Specter is scheduled to become Chairman of the Judiciary Committee that handles all judicial appointments. Specter has sent the message that he will join with liberal Democrats to kill any conservative appointments.

PHILADELPHIA -- The Republican expected to chair the Senate Judiciary Committee next year bluntly warned newly re-elected President Bush today against putting forth Supreme Court nominees who would seek to overturn abortion rights or are otherwise too conservative to win confirmation.

"When you talk about judges who would change the right of a woman to choose, overturn Roe v. Wade, I think that is unlikely," Specter said, referring to the landmark 1973 Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion.

"The president is well aware of what happened, when a bunch of his nominees were sent up, with the filibuster," Specter added, referring to Senate Democrats' success over the past four years in blocking the confirmation of many of Bush's conservative judicial picks. "... And I would expect the president to be mindful of the considerations which I am mentioning."

(As Chairman of the Judiciary Committee) Specter, 74, would have broad authority to reshape the nation's highest court (in the new Congress). He would have wide latitude to schedule hearings, call for votes and make the process as easy or as hard as he wants.

Legal scholar Dennis Hutchinson said Specter's message to the White House appears to be "a way of asserting his authority" as he prepares to chair the Judiciary Committee when Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, is term-limited from keeping the post next year.

"A self-proclaimed moderate, he helped kill President Reagan's nomination of Robert Bork to the Supreme Court and of Jeff Sessions to a federal judgeship. Specter called both nominees too extreme on civil rights issues. Sessions later became a Republican senator from Alabama and now sits on the Judiciary Committee with Specter.

Tomorrow, Americans will choose who will lead our country during a time of war and economic opportunity. And the choice on Tuesday comes down to a few issues of great consequence. The first choice is the most important, because all our progress depends on our safety.

Since September the 11th, 2001, I have led a relentless campaign against the terrorists. We have strengthened homeland security. We removed terror regimes in Afghanistan and Iraq. We are on the offensive around the world, because the best way to prevent future attacks is to go after the enemy.

My opponent has a different view. Senator Kerry says September the 11th didn't change him much, and his policies make that clear. He says the war on terror is "primarily an intelligence and law enforcement operation." He has proposed what he calls a "global test" that would give foreign governments a veto over American security decisions. And when our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq needed funding for body armor and bullets, Senator Kerry voted against it.

The direction of the war on terror is at stake in the election of 2004. And when you go to the polls on Tuesday, remember this: I will do whatever it takes to defend America and prevail in the war on terror, and I will always support the men and women who do the fighting.

The second choice in this election concerns your family budget. As a candidate, I pledged to lower taxes for families, and I have kept my word. We doubled the child tax credit, reduced the marriage penalty, and dropped the lowest tax bracket to 10 percent. Now working families keep more of their paychecks, and America's economy is growing faster than any other among major industrialized nations.

My opponent voted against all our tax relief for working families. His votes would have squeezed about $2,000 more in taxes from the average middle-class family. Now Senator Kerry is promising to increase federal spending by more than $2.2 trillion. And to pay for all that new spending, he would have to raise taxes on American families. I will keep your taxes low because I know it's not the government's money, it's your family's money.

The third choice in this election involves your quality of life. As President, I signed historic education reforms to bring high standards to the classroom and make schools accountable to parents, and our children are making progress in reading and math. We've strengthened Medicare, created health savings accounts, and expanded community health centers to help more Americans get health care. I'm proposing a series of practical reforms to make health care more affordable and accessible by expanding health savings accounts, allowing association health plans, and protecting patients and doctors from junk and frivolous lawsuits.

My opponent has a different approach. Senator Kerry voted for the No Child Left Behind Act, but he has pledged to weaken the accountability standards. He's voted 10 times against medical liability reform. And now, he's proposing a big-government health care plan that would do nothing about rising health costs, and would cause millions of Americans to lose their private health insurance and end up on government programs.

Finally, this election presents a choice on the values that keep our families strong. I believe marriage is a sacred commitment, and I will always defend it. I will continue to appoint judges who strictly interpret the law. And I will keep working to move this good-hearted nation toward a culture of life.

On these issues, my opponent and I are miles apart. Senator Kerry was part of an out-of-the-mainstream minority that voted against the Defense of Marriage Act. He believes there ought to be a liberal litmus test for judicial appointments. He voted against banning the brutal practice of partial birth abortion. I believe that reasonable people can find common ground on difficult issues, and I will continue reaching out and bringing Americans together to protect our deepest-held values.

All of these choices make this one of the most important elections in our history. These past four years, you have seen how I do my job. Even when you might not agree with me, you know where I stand, what I believe, and what I intend to do. Soon, the decision will be in your hands. The BIG Lie (CBS at it again)

From Rick Roberts... Did you know that 380 tons of explosives has 'just' gone missing in Iraq? CBS news is prepared to run an exclusive report about how the Bush administration let this cache of weapons slip through it fingers and somehow allowed it all to disappear. The report, in the hands of CBS right now, is scheduled to be broadcast on 60 Minutes this Sunday night, a day and a half before the elections.

There's a couple of problems here;

First, if it's such an important story, why is CBS waiting to report it? Why don't they report it now? I'll tell you why; To have maximum impact before the election, with no time for the administration to respond.

Second, this is old news! Besides being old, it's totally incorrect!

The cache of weapons was inspected and marked with 'new' UN seals in January of 2003 -- 3 months before our troops liberated Iraq. Embedded reporters for NBC News were with our troops when we first took over the Al-Qaqaa facility and secured it.

UN inspectors state that they had "replaced" their seals on the facility January 10, 2003. This means they inspected it sometime BEFORE January of 03. Then when they went back at that time, the first seals were gone and new seals had to be used to "replace" the old ones.

By the time our troops got there in April, THREE MONTHS LATER, the cache was gone. It's now 18 months after that.

This isn't news, and the way CBS News and the Kerry campaign are treating it is wholly a lie.

It's October, But It's No Surprise

It's October, but it's no surprise. Remember last week, the GOP highlighted a quote by Newsweek editor Evan Thomas that the media's desire to see John Kerry elected may be worth five-to-twenty million votes, and urged Republicans to be on the look-out for evidence of that desire in articles and news programs?

Well, yesterday the front page of New York Times featured a flawed article asserting, "The Iraqi interim government has warned the United States and international nuclear inspectors that nearly 380 tons of powerful conventional explosives -- used to demolish buildings, make missile warheads and detonate nuclear weapons -- are missing from one of Iraq's most sensitive former military installations. The huge facility, called Al Qaqaa, was supposed to be under American military control but is now a no man's land, still picked over by looters as recently as Sunday."

CBS News' "60 Minutes" admitted today they were saving the same story to air the Sunday before the election.

John Kerry seized on the New York Times headline to launch a political attack on President Bush, saying U.S. troops "failed to guard those stockpiles" and that is "one of the great blunders" of the war.

Senator Kerry and the New York Times leave the impression that these weapons went missing recently and U.S. troops were derilict in their duty to guard the stockpile--neither of which is true.

Network and cable news programs repeated the incomplete report and Sen. Kerry's attacks more than 100 times on Monday.

But last night NBC "Nightly News" reported that on April 10, 2003, one day after Baghdad fell, U.S. troops entered Al Qaqaa, accompanied by an embedded reporter from NBC, and found no such weapons.

It also turns out that our troops have found and destroyed or are destroying 400,000 tons of weapons and explosives.

There was no mention of either one of these facts in today's New York Times front page story, which regurgitated yesterday's charges and Senator Kerry's attacks based on them.

Liberal groups like MoveOn.org have already blasted out e-mails repeating the discredited report and urging people to vote against President Bush based on the flawed coverage.

We can not count on the media to set the story straight. We have to get the truth out to our friends and neighbors ourselves.

We are counting on YOU to set the record straight. Please forward this information to family and friends, call your local network, call talk radio, write letters to the editor, and post facts on blogs.

Republicans Vote Early!

There are only a few days left until the election and, if you can, I recommend voting early. Click here to find your early voting location. Because on Election Day the GOP will need your help getting more people involved and getting voters to the polls. The Democrats have already begun to implement their plans to use lawyers and baseless allegations to skew the results in their favor.

I believe no legitimate voter should be disenfranchised, either by being denied a vote or by having an honest vote cancelled out by a fraudulent vote.

Democrats appear to be setting the stage to use the new provisional balloting rules to convert registration fraud into vote fraud, with the possibility of Kerry supporters voting in multiple jurisdictions or under multiple names.

In one contested election where provisional ballots have been cast, somewhere between 7-to-23 percent of them were valid. Democrats seem intent on making the case that every provisional ballot cast must be counted, and are deploying a horde of 10,000 lawyers to compel the counting of votes that were not legally cast.

They have made their strategy clear: If they lose they will sue, and haul the electoral process into courtrooms across the country so activist liberal judges can undermine the will of the people.

The American people should be confident that legitimate voters casting legitimate votes determine the outcome of this election.

This underscores the importance of getting out the Republican vote. Your work is important and your vote will make a difference on election day.

Procter & Gamble Boycott

Procter & Gamble is the largest contributor to the “Yes on 3” campaign in Cincinnati, an effort to give special rights to homosexuals.

The latest figures show that P&G has given $30,000 to the campaign, more than any other contributor! P&G said in a public letter that securing special rights for homosexuals was the “right” thing to do, and that those who oppose the “Yes on 3” efforts are “out of step.”

While P&G is leading the effort to give homosexuals special rights in Cincinnati, the company has refused to endorse the Ohio Marriage Protection Amendment that defines marriage as being between one man and one woman.

P&G aggressively promotes special rights for homosexuals, but at the same time refuses to take a stand for traditional marriage. It is no longer a secret that P&G has become a leader in pushing the homosexual agenda.

P&G has a history of consistently doing this. In a letter sent to their employees, P&G said: “We value differences and will not tolerate discrimination in any form, against anyone, for any reason.” Opposing same sex marriage is discrimination for good reason, but P&G says it will not tolerate discrimination.

P&G thinks that hundreds of thousands of voters in the following states are “out of step” and did not do what is “right,” (thus it was wrong) when they voted to discriminate against homosexuals by not allowing them to marry. In the states of Hawaii (69.2% to 28.6%), Alaska (68.11% to 31.89%), Nebraska (70.1% to 29.9%), Nevada (67.1% to 32.7%), Missouri (70.7% to 29.3%) and Louisiana (78% to 22%), large majorities have voted into their state constitutions a ban on homosexual marriage.

It is no longer a secret where P&G stands on the homosexual marriage issue. American Family Association is asking individuals to:

New York Times article confirms what we can expect if pro-homosexual marriage officials and activists win.

I strongly urge you to read the story above, taken from the New York Times. The Times is one of the most liberal newspapers in America. They have always been pro-homosexual marriage.

The story concerns what is happening in Key West, Florida, a haven for homosexuals. It has gotten so bad that the homosexual community is angered that the city fathers have asked them to tone down their behavior.

If you read between the lines, you get the sense that even reporter Nick Madigan isn't comfortable reporting what he sees. In fact, I get the impression that he is holding back and not reporting the situation to be as bad as it is.

Homosexual marriage is the crown jewel in the homosexual push. They aren't really interested in homosexual marriage (only a tiny number have married in Sweden where it is legal). What they want is acceptance and approval of their lifestyle and the freedom to practice it in any manner they desire.

John Kerry was going to visit the National Shrine in DC, as part of his campaign. Kerry's campaign manager made a visit to the Cardinal and said to him, "We've been getting a lot of bad publicity among Catholics because of Kerry's position on abortion and the like. We'd gladly make a contribution to the church of $100,000 if during your sermon you'd say John Kerry is a saint."

The Cardinal thinks it over for a moment and agrees to do it.

Kerry shows up, and as the Mass progresses the Cardinal begins his homily. "John Kerry is petty, a self absorbed hypocrite and a nit-wit. He is a liar, a cheat, and a thief. He is the worst example of a Catholic I've ever personally known. But compared to Ted Kennedy, John Kerry is a saint.

Kerry Tragedy

John Kerry visits a school classroom. They are in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings. The teacher asks Mr. Kerry if he would like to lead the discussion on the word "tragedy." So the illustrious Senator asks the class for an example of a tragedy.

One little boy stands up and offers: "If my best friend, who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a tractor runs him over and kills him, that would be a 'tragedy'."

"No," says Kerry, "that would be an accident."

A little girl raises her hand: "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy."

"I'm afraid not," explains Mr. Kerry. "That's what we would call a great loss'."

The room goes silent. No other children volunteered. Kerry searches the room. "Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of a 'tragedy'?"

Finally, at the back of the room a small boy raises his hand. In a quiet voice, he says: "If your campaign plane, carrying you, Mr. Kerry, were struck by a 'friendly fire' missile and blown to smithereens, that would be a 'tragedy'."

"Fantastic!" exclaims Kerry. "That's right. And can you tell me why that would be a 'tragedy'?"

"Well," says the boy "because it certainly wouldn't be a 'great loss' and it probably wouldn't be an 'accident' either.

Three abortion doctors who specialize in partial-birth abortions – two of whom actually advertise their willingness to perform the grisly procedure – are all contributors to John Kerry's presidential campaign.

George Tiller and Warren Hern may be the only two abortionists in the U.S. who openly advertise that they perform third-trimester abortions, writes Douglas Johnson in the Weekly Standard. Johnson is legislative director for the National Right to Life Committee.

The third doctor is Martin Haskell. Together, the three have contributed a total of $7,000 to help put Kerry in the White House.

Kerry says, "I oppose abortion, personally. I don't like abortion. I believe life does begin at conception."

BUT, Kerry has no problem accepting checks from abortionists and he has voted every time (six times) against passage of the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act! Actions speak much louder than words!
